Kate Ball, DVM
Dr. Kate Ball graduated veterinary school from University of Illinois in 1995 and has been a small animal veterinarian in Illinois until recently. She & her husband fell in love with Alabama on a trip here in 2020. They bought a place near Bear Creek in 2021 and have been coming down & fixing it up in their spare time. They just made the big move here after Christmas 2025 along with their assorted animals: a dog, 3 donkeys, 6 tortoises, 3 box turtles, & 5 chickens. Dr Ball started working at Smith Animal Clinic January 5. In her spare time, Dr Ball enjoys gardening, cooking, walks with her dog, horse riding, & traveling.
